How to Use Your Private Club to Maximize Benefits

Many people join a private club, but unfortunately, never use it as much as they should or could. Here at the Harbour Club at WestEdge, we are changing that. You see, we want our Members to get everything they possibly can out of the Club because when our Members are successful, of course, we are too. The Club, after all, is nothing without its Members! Here’s a how-to guide on getting the most out of your Club.

Social Connections

We are finally on our way out of the pandemic and most people are ready to shed their sweats and reenter the world. Many may feel they’ve lost touch with friends they used to see every day. The Harbour Club is the perfect place to meet like-minded people. Maybe you enjoy wine, if so our wine dinners are a great spot to meet a fellow foodie. Perhaps yoga is more your speed, we have that too! In fact, our weekly calendar of events is chock full of everything from comedy shows to art exhibits and all that in between. Just moved to Charleston? The Harbour Club will be your home away from home where you’ll meet tons of new friends in this beautiful city!

Business Connections

Many of our Members use the Club not just to socialize with friends, but to also make new business connections. Our Members are the CEOs of major corporations, top attorneys, physicians and entrepreneurs. Vital business connections are made every day over lunch, dinner or at our Business Networking Happy Hours. Our monthly Member Receptions are another great place to serendipitously bump into a new investor who wants to back your brilliant idea. The possibilities are endless.

Office and Meeting Space

When designing the Harbour Club’s new home, the owners of course had social and event venues in mind, but they also wanted to create special spaces where people could have business meetings or simply have a nice alternative to working from home or a traditional office. For this reason, we have the Honor and Respect Boardrooms which can be one large space or divided into two separate board rooms with aerial views of the Citadel campus. Additionally, there are five smaller co-working spaces, also with floor to ceiling windows, perfect for a small business meeting, a conference call or even just a quiet place to work.

A Place to Host a Private Event

One of the best perks of a private club is access to all kinds of event spaces. There’s of course the Rivers Ballroom for large weddings or conferences, but there are also beautiful intimate spaces where family and loved ones can celebrate a birthday, engagement or a rehearsal dinner such as our High Garden Private Dining Room.

So whether you just joined the Harbour Club or have been a Member for years, come and enjoy all it has to offer. Who knows, that next business connection or personal contact just may be waiting for you on the 7th Floor of 22 WestEdge.
