One of the unique characteristics of The Greencroft Club is its comfortable, informal and home-like ambiance. This is because the main building, built in the early 1900s, was a private residence for several local families over the years. You will note the wonderful appointments such as the old oak, wide-plank, hardwood floors; the thick plaster walls; and the stone façade of the old building where the dining room has been added on. The “living room” where many eat during the week is the old living room of the home.

The Greencroft Club traces its origins back to 1964 and the formation of the “Boar’s Head Club”, which was located downstairs in the Boar’s Head Inn.
