The 1836 Club is named for the year Arkansas achieved statehood. Located in the historic Packet House, The 1836 Club embraces the rich history of the home and the state of Arkansas. The Packet House is one of the oldest remaining homes in Arkansas. It was built in 1869 by United States Senator Alexander McDonald.
